VSCode vs Sublime
I have been using VSCode for a copule of months now. Overall, I will stick to it now.
Positive
- Eco-system and extensions.
- Ligatures (I think Sublime 3.1 has it now) and font rendering.
- Integrated CLI.
- Task runners built in.
Negative
- “Open Recent…” opens replaces the front window. This drives me nuts! ;-) The default behaviour in macOS is to open it in a new window.
- The build-in terminal feels buggy, has some wired issues with auto-completion.
- A little slower starting-up than Sublime. Not a major issue.
- Sometimes hard to see ending brackets in a selection. Luckily I found
rainbow-brackets
